OPEN INVITATION TO PREIDENT BILL LEWIS TO DEBATE:
Let The Citizens Decide!
This is an open invitation to President Bill Lewis to debate the merits, including motives, of your recent efforts to delay the collection of, reduce the amounts owed, or forgive three debts adjudged by the Kalamazoo County Courts in connection with the Village’s code enforcement efforts before November 20, 2024.
Rules are simple:
- A moderator to be selected by mutual agreement of the parties;
- The Lincoln-Douglas format would provide the structure;
- No live audience. In addition to the parties, there would be a videographer and a moderator;
- The video and audio of the debate would be the exclusive property of climaxprairie.news and it would have exclusive rights to publication;
- President Bill Lewis would provide at least two weeks in advance all documents in his care custody and control relating to the three debts, including but not limited to court records, correspondence, attorney’s fees, records of communications and the communications with the present Village Attorney, other Village of Climax Trustees, and the debtors or their proxies, as well as emails, and texts. The moderator would settle any disputes about your production of these materials;
- Venue would be at a location in the Village of Climax;
- The debate would be limited to sixty (60) minutes.
